Conquer Language Barriers with ARG’s Talk & Listen Systems
Empower Your School with Clear, Simultaneous Language Interpretation
Over the past decade, the need for high-quality Language Interpretation Systems has soared across public schools in the U.S. Thousands of schools trust Audio Resource Group (ARG) to provide the best systems tailored to meet their needs.
ARG’s Talk & Listen Systems are designed to help you break down language barriers at important school events like Back-to-School Nights, Parent Meetings, Orientations, and Graduations. By providing seamless simultaneous interpretation, our systems improve parent involvement and enhance student academic success.
How It Works
ARG's Talk & Listen systems offer simple, effective communication with MLL (Multilingual Learner) parents. Our systems allow interpreters to provide translations in multiple languages, with listeners easily tuning into the channel corresponding to their chosen language.
The Basics:
- Transmitter: Each language requires a separate transmitter.
- Receiver: Each listener needs their own receiver to tune into the broadcasted language.
Think of it like tuning into different radio stations. Each language has its own channel, and listeners can choose which one to hear. This system ensures clear, uninterrupted communication for all attendees, no matter how many languages are needed.
Choosing the Right Receiver for Your Needs
We offer a variety of receiver options to suit different needs, ensuring a comfortable and effective experience for all listeners.
Mini Receivers
This is a commonly used style. Listeners plug in lightweight headphones to the mini receiver and hear the interpretation. Our mini receivers have a user-friendly interface that makes changing channels and adjusting volume easy. A lanyard to wear around your neck is also included, making the mini receiver hands free once the listener has the volume level set to their liking.
Over the Ear
This style of receiver incorporates the headphone and receiver into one unit and is worn on the ear or simply held close to the listeners ear. There are no headphone cables or lanyards to get tangled up when the listeners turn in their devices after the meeting.
Modular
This style of receiver plugs into our active or passive noise canceling headphones. If you are concerned about ambient noise interfering with the listeners, then this is the style for you. Your listeners can cancel out background noise for a relaxing, crystal-clear audio experience.
Bone Conduction
This option is similar to the Over the Ear receiver, combining a receiver and headphone. Instead of standard speakers, it uses bone conduction technology to transmit sound through the cheek and jaw, bypassing the eardrum. It’s ideal for large events due to the lack of cords or lanyards, making distribution easier. Plus, it's waterproof for easy cleaning and sanitization after use.
